White Cotton Two-Pocket Work Shirt
This is a plain white work shirt, made in Somerset from a Japanese cotton. It takes the practical layout of a utility shirt, with two flapped chest pockets that hold small things so the trouser pockets don't have to. It is finished with dress-shirt details such as mother of pearl buttons and single-needle seams. It is meant for casual wear, whether working or at the weekend.

Japanese Natural Slub Chambray
We chose a Japanese slub chambray in an undyed natural shade because it is a solid, plain-woven cotton with the sturdy, textured character of a work shirt. It does mean the colour moves from clean white to a creamy, flecked off-white. We matched the one-button barrel cuffs, front placket, curved hem, mother of pearl buttons and two flapped chest pockets. Proper Cloth's flapped option is its Western pocket, so the flaps take that shape rather than Drake's straight ones. We used the soft point collar as the nearest option to Drake's long point.
A Japanese chambray in undyed natural cotton, woven plain from 16s yarns and sitting at the heavier end of medium weight. Slubs in the yarn and natural speckles give it a creamy, uneven surface with visible texture. It suits casual wear and should soften with washing.
