Chambray Two-Pocket Western Shirt
This is Drake's take on the Western shirt, a pattern that started on American ranches and later became an everyday shirt. It is made in England in a plain cotton chambray, with single-needle seams, corozo buttons, pointed front yokes with edge-stitching and two flapped chest pockets. The cloth is meant to fade and soften over years of regular wear. It works tucked or untucked, on its own or as a light overshirt.

Portuguese Light Wash Indigo Slub Chambray
We picked a Portuguese indigo chambray to match the original's blue cotton. It is a light wash, so it already has some of the faded look the Drake's shirt only gets with age. We set a western front, western pockets, a western yoke, a shallow curved hem, natural corozo buttons and fine edge stitching to follow the original's structure. Proper Cloth's cuffs come with two buttons, not the original's three, so we chose a soft square two-button cuff.
The cloth is a 100% cotton chambray woven in Portugal from 20s yarns: an indigo warp crossed with a white weft. It is medium heavyweight and comes in a light wash, and its slub yarns give the surface an uneven, slightly rustic texture. It breathes well and softens with washing.

It’s woven in Portugal from 100% cotton, breathes easily, and softens with every wash. Tuck it into khaki chinos under a waxed field jacket, or wear it open over a white tee with rinse-wash denim. Finish: No Treatment.
