Bleach Wash Chambray Cotton Long Sleeve Cuban Shirt
Drake's take on the guayabera, the four-pocket shirt linked above all with Cuba and worn widely across Latin America in hot weather. The design keeps the type's defining features: rounded flap pockets at chest and hip, and vertical pleats running down the front. It is cut in a bleach-washed cotton chambray and made in Portugal. It is meant for summer, worn loose and untucked with the collar open.

Portuguese Light Wash Indigo Slub Chambray
We chose a light wash indigo slub chambray from Portugal because it gets closest to the soft, faded blue and worn surface of the bleach-washed original. We set a one-piece collar to sit open like a camp collar, with one-button barrel cuffs, rounded flap pockets, a straight hem and mother of pearl buttons, all to match the original. Proper Cloth's design offered no front pleats, so the guayabera pleats are left out. We used a French front in place of a placket and kept the standard one-piece yoke.
A 100% cotton chambray woven in Portugal from 20s yarns, with an indigo warp across a white weft. It is light washed, so the blue looks soft and faded from new, and slub yarns give the surface an uneven, textured look. It is at the heavier end of medium weight, breathes well and softens with washing.
