Bleach Wash Denim Two-Pocket Western Shirt
Drake's version of the familiar western shirt is cut from washed indigo denim and made in England with single-needle seams and corozo buttons. The cloth is a 7.6oz cotton denim, dyed with indigo and then bleach washed, so it starts out faded and continues to soften and wear in with years of use. Pointed yokes front and back, two flapped chest pockets and triple-button cuffs keep it close to the working originals. It is a hardwearing shirt, worn on its own or as a light outer layer.

Albiate Light Wash Indigo Denim
We chose Albiate's light wash indigo denim because its bleach-washed indigo colour, with slight variation through the cloth, is close to the faded blue of the original. We kept the western yoke, western chest pockets, natural corozo buttons and a front placket. Proper Cloth does not offer the long-pointed western collar or a triple-button cuff, so we used a soft point collar and a one-button barrel cuff with adjustable buttons, and took the shallow curved hem in place of a straight one.
A 100% cotton denim twill from Albiate, the long-established Italian mill, in a light indigo produced by bleach washing heavily dyed cloth. It is medium in weight with a smooth finish and a soft drape, and as a garment-washed shirt it shows some fading around the seams.

- The light indigo color of this fabric features subtle variation and is achieved through the reaction of the indigo dye with a heavy bleach wash. From sourcing the perfect denim from Japan and a 185-year-old mill in Italy to testing washes with our factory for months on end, we labor over every detail of our washed indigo shirts. After being cut and sewn, the shirts are then garment washed using either a light enzyme, soda, or bleaching process. While garment washed indigo and denim shirts are a popular product in the ready-to-wear market, they haven‘t previously been available in a custom fit or design due to the bulk production required for the washing process. We‘ve worked closely with our suppliers to bring you the first truly custom garment washed indigo and denim shirts on the market. Premium, carefully crafted shirts, made to your exact specifications. Note that, due to the special nature of the garment washing process, this fabric can only be made using soft, unfused collars, cuffs, and fronts/plackets.
