Navy Pique Cotton Long-Sleeve Polo Shirt
This is a long-sleeve polo in navy cotton pique, made in Portugal. It sits between a knitted shirt and a sports top, keeping the knit's ease while the collar and placket hold a tidier line. Ribbed cuffs keep the sleeves close at the wrist, and a stepped hem lets it be worn tucked or loose. It suits cooler days when a short-sleeve polo would be too little, worn alone or under a jacket.

Light Slate Linen Knit Jersey
Proper Cloth's polos are made only in its own knits, and it offers no navy cotton pique, so we chose a solid knit jersey and took pure linen in a light slate melange. We kept the long sleeves, the soft one-piece polo collar, the mother-of-pearl buttons and a polo hem. Proper Cloth offers a two-button polo placket and buttoned cuffs rather than three buttons and ribbing, so we took those and chose a long single-button cuff to keep the sleeve end neat.
A very lightweight pure linen knitted as a jersey rather than woven, so it drapes softly and gives a little. The slubbed yarn gives a quiet, uneven surface, and the light slate melange changes slightly in tone as the light shifts. It breathes well and suits warm weather.
