Blue Stripe Cotton Pyjama Set
This is the shirt half of a cotton pyjama set, made in Somerset from a lightweight Italian cotton twill. It follows the traditional sleepwear shirt, with a band collar in place of a turned collar and a softly curved hem. It is sold with matching trousers that have an elasticated drawstring waist, and it is meant for lounging and sleep.

William Light Blue Reverse Stripe Twill
We chose a lightweight light blue striped cotton twill. It keeps the diagonal weave, the soft hand and the pale blue cast of the original. We matched the grandad collar, the curved hem, the single chest pocket and the mother of pearl buttons, and asked for soft construction throughout so the shirt drapes loosely, as sleepwear should. Proper Cloth had no cloth with the original's tan and ecru stripe combination, so we settled for a single-colour blue stripe. The shirt also needed cuffs and a yoke, so we chose soft one-button barrel cuffs and a one-piece yoke.
A smooth, lightweight 100% cotton twill in 70s yarns, with a light blue reverse stripe. The weaver is not named. The weave is fine enough to look nearly as crisp as broadcloth, it breathes well and it resists creasing reasonably well.
