St. JOHN by Drake's Stripe Oxford Cloth Button-Down Shirt
This is a striped oxford button-down from the St. JOHN by Drake's line, made in a limited edition at the company's factory in Somerset. It is cut on a regular silhouette with single-needle seams. The collar has a floating, brushed interlining, so it rolls softly rather than sitting flat. A small St. JOHN monogram is embroidered low on the left side over the stomach. The shirt is a staple, and it suits casual wear as readily as a jacket and trousers.

American Pima Light Blue University Stripe Oxford Cloth
We chose a light blue university stripe oxford in American Pima cotton because its colour, pattern and weave are the closest match to the original's fine blue and white stripe. To keep the soft roll of the Drake's collar, we used an unlined button-down collar, a soft front placket, one-button cuffs, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth's cloth is heavier than the original's midweight oxford. As made, the shirt also has an angled chest pocket, a split yoke and barrel cuffs, and the embroidered monogram is left off.
An oxford in American Pima cotton, woven from two-ply 80s yarns. It is heavy and substantial in weight, with a matte face and a soft hand. The light blue and white university stripe is evenly spaced, and the cloth softens and gains character with washing and wear.
