Blue Pinpoint Oxford Cotton Cloth Long Point Collar Shirt
Drake's makes this shirt in pinpoint oxford, a finer and lighter relative of the standard oxford cloth that has been a staple of men's shirting for about a century. Pinpoint keeps the durability of oxford but has a smoother surface with a slight sheen and a softer hand. Drake's cuts it to a regular silhouette with a long point collar instead of a button-down, so it sits between casual and formal dress and works with or without a tie. It is made in the company's own factory in Somerset.

Thomas Mason Light Blue Pinpoint
We chose a light blue pinpoint from Thomas Mason because it matches the original closely on colour, weave, fibre and weight. We kept the solid pale blue, the single-button cuff, the front placket, the chest pocket, the curved hem and the mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth has no long point collar with a floating interlining, so we used its soft point collar with soft construction to get a similarly unstiffened collar. Its standard angled pocket and split yoke replace Drake's square patch pocket and plain back.
Thomas Mason's light blue pinpoint is a lightweight solid cotton woven from 80s two-ply yarns. It has enough body to last but is light enough for warm weather. The colour is a pale, cool blue, and the cloth softens and drapes more easily with repeated washing.
