Blue Ticking Stripe Cotton Oxford Cloth Pocket Button-Down Shirt
This is Drake's oxford button-down shirt, a garment that has been a fixture of men's wardrobes for roughly a hundred years and sits at the centre of the house's range. This version is cut in a sky blue and white ticking stripe and made in the company's Somerset factory. It has a regular silhouette, single-needle seams and a soft, rolling collar with a floating interlining, so it suits a tailored jacket as well as more casual clothes.

Japanese Light Blue Stripe Sea Island Oxford Button Down
We chose a Japanese-woven Sea Island cotton oxford in light blue and white stripes, because it keeps the original's cotton oxford base and its blue-and-white colouring. We matched the main details: a soft unfused button-down collar, a front placket, a one-button barrel cuff, a single flap chest pocket, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth's striped oxfords did not include a ticking stripe in this cloth, so we used a narrower pencil stripe. The cloth is also listed as heavier than the Drake's oxford.
A traditional oxford woven in Japan from West Indian Sea Island cotton grown in Barbados, using 40s single-ply yarns. Its long-staple fibre gives a soft hand with a slight sheen. It comes in light blue with a fine white pencil stripe and is sturdy enough to wear all year.
