Blue Oxford Cloth Long Point Collar Work Shirt
Drake's work shirt takes the practical outline of a utility garment and cuts it in a striped oxford cotton, so that it sits as comfortably with tailoring as with weekend clothes. Two flapped chest pockets carry what might otherwise weigh down trouser pockets, while a long point button-down collar gives it a more tailored face. It is made in Somerset with the single-needle seams and corozo buttons used across the house's shirting, and is meant to be worn often and casually.

Japanese Light Blue Stripe Sea Island Oxford Button Down
We chose a light blue pencil stripe oxford because it matches the colour, the fine stripe and the open oxford texture of the original. We set two rounded flap pockets, a button-down collar, two-button cuffs, a front placket and corozo buttons to follow the Drake's details. Proper Cloth's collar is an Ivy button-down rather than a dedicated long point, and the shirt was made with a split yoke and a shallow curved hem in place of the original's straight hem.
An oxford woven in Japan from West Indian Sea Island cotton grown in Barbados, in a 40s single-ply yarn. Proper Cloth lists it as heavyweight, with a soft, faintly lustrous hand, and it carries a fine light blue pencil stripe on a white ground. The extra-long staple fibre gives a smooth surface that should soften further with washing while keeping oxford's durability.
