Blue Chambay Short Sleeve Camp Collar Shirt
A short-sleeved summer shirt that pairs chambray, a workwear cloth of long standing, with the open camp collar. Drake's cut it from a lighter chambray than usual, with a loose body and a straight hem, so that it reads as clean and uncomplicated. It is made in Portugal and intended to be worn untucked with the collar open in hot weather.

Portuguese Light Wash Indigo Refined Chambray
We chose a light wash indigo chambray woven in Portugal, which comes close to the pale blue and soft, slightly varied surface of the original. We set a one-piece soft collar to give the open camp shape, short sleeves, a one-piece yoke, a straight hem and mother of pearl buttons to match. Proper Cloth lists this cloth as medium weight rather than light, and we chose a French front and utility pockets in place of the original's placket and plain patch pockets.
A pure cotton chambray from Portugal in 20s yarns, with a fine, smooth weave and a soft hand. It is a solid light indigo, washed to give the colour some gentle variation, and sits at a medium weight that holds its shape a little more than a summer-weight chambray.
