Blue Broad Stripe Cotton Poplin Button-Down Shirt
This is a long-sleeved button-down shirt in light cotton poplin with a broad sky blue and white stripe, made at the firm's own factory in Somerset. It follows the plain, smooth shirting cloth that has long been used for both office and weekend dress. The collar has a brushed interlining that floats rather than being fused, so it rolls softly, and the back carries a box pleat for movement. It is meant to be worn with a tie or without, under tailoring or on its own.

Stanton 120s Light Blue Wide Bengal Stripe
We chose a light blue and white Bengal stripe in a smooth 120s two-ply broadcloth, which is a close match in colour, stripe width and plain, flat surface to the Drake's poplin. We set a soft, unfused button-down collar to echo the floating interlining, kept a single-button cuff, a front placket, one chest pocket and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth's options led us to a barrel cuff, an angled pocket in place of the point pocket, and a one-piece yoke without a box pleat.
A very lightweight plain-weave cotton broadcloth woven in Europe from 120s two-ply yarn, smooth and crisp in the hand with almost no surface texture. The pattern is a light blue and white Bengal stripe, somewhat wider than a pencil stripe. It is cool to wear through most of the year, creases more readily than a twill or pinpoint, and presses well, though it can also be worn unironed.
