Green Ticking Stripe Cotton Oxford Cloth Pocket Button-Down Shirt
This is Drake's take on the oxford cloth button-down, a shirt the house treats as central to its range and one whose basic form has changed little in a hundred years. Here it is cut in a white oxford with a fine sage green ticking stripe, in a regular silhouette. It is made in the Drake's factory in Somerset with single-needle seams, a mitred flap pocket with a box pleat and a soft collar that rolls. It can be worn under tailoring or on its own with casual trousers.

Clark Green University Stripe Oxford Cloth
We chose a green and white striped cotton oxford as the closest cloth to the original's green ticking stripe. We set a soft unlined-style button-down collar, a single flap chest pocket, a one-button cuff and mother of pearl buttons to follow the Drake's details. The available cloth is a heavier two-ply oxford with an even university stripe rather than a fine ticking stripe. The cuff is a barrel cuff, and the pocket is a plain flap pocket, as those were the options we set.
A heavyweight oxford woven from Pima cotton in 40s two-ply yarns, with a firm, substantial hand that is not overly thick. It has a green university stripe on a white ground, and it is a durable cloth that softens with washing and wear.
