ALD / Drake's Green Oxford Shirt
This is a button-down shirt from the Transatlantic capsule that Drake's made with Aimé Leon Dore, which pairs the English maker's easy tailoring with the New York label's look. It is built around the classic oxford button-down, a shirt that has been a staple of menswear for about a century and sits at the centre of Drake's own range. The shirt is made in the firm's Somerset factory with a softly rolling collar on a floating interlining, single-needle seams and a regular cut, and it is finished with a narrow white and sage green stripe and an embroidered motif on the chest pocket. It works with a jacket or worn casually with jeans.

Clark Green University Stripe Oxford Cloth
We picked a heavy green and white striped oxford because it comes closest to the original's colouring and its solid, textured cotton. We matched the soft button-down collar, the one-piece yoke, the single-button cuff and the mother of pearl buttons, and chose a soft front placket to keep the relaxed look. Proper Cloth offers no mitred flap pocket and no embroidery, so we used an angled open pocket instead. Its green stripe is a university stripe, which is wider than the original's narrow pinstripe.
This is a heavyweight oxford cloth woven from two-ply 40s Pima cotton, with white and green university stripes. It feels substantial without being thick, and it should hold up well and soften with washing and wear. The cloth's description does not name the mill.
