Green Pencil Stripe Cotton Long Point Collar Shirt
A casual shirt in a fine green pencil stripe on white, cut on Drake's relaxed block for an easy fit. Its long, elongated point collar looks back to mid-century shirting, and the pleated flap pocket gives it a slightly utilitarian note. It is made in Italy from Japanese cotton. It suits open-necked wear with tailoring or knitwear as well as more casual dress.

Stanton 120s Green Bengal Stripe
We chose a dark green and white bengal stripe in a smooth, lightweight cotton broadcloth because it comes closest to the original's crisp poplin and fine green stripe. We matched the details from the original's description: a point collar, a front placket, a single flap chest pocket, one-button barrel cuffs, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth offers no collar listed specifically as a long point, so we used its soft point collar with unfused construction to keep the relaxed character. The stripe is slightly broader than a true pencil stripe, as no closer match was available.
The Stanton is a European broadcloth, a plain weave in 120s two-ply cotton. It is very light, with a smooth, crisp hand and almost no surface texture. Its dark green and white bengal stripe is a little wider than a pencil stripe. Like most broadcloths it creases fairly readily, but it irons well and can also be worn unironed after washing.
