Green Check Brushed Cotton Two-Pocket Work Shirt
Drake's two-pocket work shirt borrows from the plain utility shirts of outdoor labour and makes them in a heavy brushed cotton check of olive green, tan and navy. It is made in Somerset with the single-needle stitching and corozo buttons used across Drake's shirting. Two flapped chest pockets carry what might otherwise weigh down the trousers, and a spread collar and rounded cuffs keep it easy to move in. It is meant as a casual outer layer, at home in the garden or by the sea.

Jackson Green and Blue Country Plaid
We looked for a heavy, textured cotton plaid in a similar green-led palette and chose a slubby European twill, since it gives a rugged, country feel close to the original's brushed cloth. We matched the spread collar, single-button cuffs, front placket, pleated flap chest pockets, curved hem and corozo buttons. Proper Cloth has no direct equivalent of Drake's brushed floating interlining, so we chose its soft collar and cuff options to keep them unstiffened.
A heavyweight cotton twill woven in Europe from thick single-ply yarns, with a slubby, uneven surface that gives it a rustic hand. The plaid is faded green and royal blue, and the cloth is built to stand up to hard, casual wear.
