Yellow Oxford Cotton Pyjama Set
Drake's made this shirt as the top half of a pyjama set, cut from a plain yellow oxford cotton and made in Somerset, England. It takes the traditional sleepwear shirt as its starting point: a rounded collar, a buttoned front, three patch pockets and a square hem, with mother of pearl buttons. It is cut loose and boxy, and is sold with matching drawstring trousers for lounging at home.

Clark Faded Yellow Oxford Cloth
We chose a faded yellow oxford in pure cotton because it comes closest to the pale yellow and soft, slightly textured surface of the original. We set a soft one-piece collar to keep the relaxed, unstructured look of the pyjama collar, and matched the mother of pearl buttons, square hem and chest patch pocket. Proper Cloth's options do not include the two angled lower pockets or a plain hemmed cuff, so we used a single chest pocket and soft one-button barrel cuffs. The available oxford is a heavier cloth than the original, and we made the shirt on its own, without trousers.
A heavy oxford cloth woven from Pima cotton in a faded, pale yellow with no pattern. It has a substantial but not stiff hand, and it softens and settles with repeated washing and wear.
