Yellow Triple Stripe Block Print Cotton Camp Collar Short Sleeve Shirt
A short-sleeved holiday shirt with an open camp collar, cut loose with a plain front and a square hem. The form comes from the long tradition of simple warm-weather shirts, and Drake's keeps it deliberately uncomplicated. Its distinguishing feature is the cloth, a soft cotton printed by hand with wooden blocks in India, giving triple stripes in mustard on ecru. It is made in Portugal and intended to be worn untucked in high summer.

Baird McNutt Gold and Ivory Stripe Irish Linen
We looked for a lightweight cloth in the same pairing of a warm yellow and an off-white, and chose a gold and ivory striped Irish linen from Baird McNutt. Hand block printing is not available, so we relied on linen's natural slubs to stand in for the slightly uneven edges of the printed stripe. We matched the open one-piece collar, short sleeves, single square chest pocket, straight hem and mother of pearl buttons. Proper Cloth's front options led us to a French front rather than a placket, and the cut is finished with a one-piece yoke.
A fine, lightweight plain-weave linen in 26s yarns, woven and finished in Northern Ireland by Baird McNutt. It is striped in gold and ivory, with the soft, textured hand and slubby irregularity typical of linen, and it wears cool and breathable while creasing readily.
