ALD / Drake's Yellow Oxford Shirt
Drake's made this yellow oxford button-down for its Transatlantic capsule with Aimé Leon Dore. It pairs Drake's long-standing button-down with the New York label's sensibility. It is cut to a regular silhouette in Drake's Somerset factory, with a soft, rolling collar on floating interlinings and single-needle seams, and an embroidered motif sits on the chest pocket. It is intended as an everyday staple, dressed up or down.

Clark Faded Yellow Oxford Cloth
We chose a faded yellow oxford in pure cotton to match the original's colour and plain oxford texture, accepting a heavier cloth than the midweight original. We set a soft Ivy button-down collar, a front placket, a single-button cuff, a curved hem and mother of pearl buttons to follow the Drake's details. Proper Cloth's options do not include a mitred flap pocket or the embroidered motif, so we used a plain angled patch pocket instead.
A heavyweight oxford woven from Pima cotton, with a 40/1 by 21/2 construction, in a solid faded yellow. It has a substantial but not stiff hand, and it softens and improves with repeated washing and wear.
