Sand Brushed Cotton Twill Two-Pocket Camp Collar Work Shirt
Drake's two-pocket work shirt takes the plain utility shirt of the workshop and recuts it for ordinary wear away from it. This version is made in Portugal from a Japanese cotton twill that has been brushed for a softer surface, in a solid sand colour. A camp collar, curved hem and one-button cuffs keep it relaxed, and two flap pockets on the chest carry small items so the trousers stay uncluttered. It is meant to be worn open at the neck, on its own or as a light layer.

Camel Melange Cotton Cashmere Italian Flannel
We looked for a solid twill in a warm sandy brown with a brushed surface and chose a camel melange cotton and cashmere flannel, which has a pronounced twill and a light nap. We set a soft one-piece collar to give the open camp shape, one-button barrel cuffs, a medium curved hem, natural corozo buttons and flap chest pockets in Proper Cloth's safari style. The configuration has a French front rather than a placket, a split yoke and quarter-inch stitching, so the front and the seams are finished differently from the original.
An Italian flannel of 96% cotton and 4% cashmere, woven as a distinct twill from 30s two-ply yarns and lightly brushed. It is heavy, dense and soft, with a smooth finish and a faint fuzz, in a solid camel melange. It is a warm cloth best suited to the colder months.
