Khaki Piqué Cotton Polo Shirt
Drake's khaki polo follows the familiar pattern of the piqué tennis shirt, a garment that moved from the court into general wear long ago. It is knitted from cotton piqué and made in Portugal, with a ribbed collar, a two-button placket and a stepped hem. It is intended as a plain, adaptable short-sleeved shirt that can be worn with casual clothes or under a soft jacket.

Brown Linen Knit Jersey
We chose a brown linen jersey because it keeps the plain, solid look of the original in a knitted cloth suited to warm weather, accepting linen in place of cotton piqué. We set a two-button polo placket, short polo sleeves, no pocket and mother of pearl buttons to follow the original. Proper Cloth offers a soft one-piece collar rather than a ribbed knit collar, so we used that, and the warm melange brown is the closest match to the khaki and olive tones of the original.
A very lightweight jersey knitted from pure linen in a brown melange. The slubby yarn gives the surface a quiet, uneven texture, and its colour shifts slightly in different light. Being knitted, it drapes softly and has a little give, and the open linen fibre lets air through freely in hot weather.
