Tobacco Irish Linen Tailored Jacket
A single-breasted summer jacket in tobacco linen, woven and dyed in Ireland and made up in Italy. It follows the Drake's house approach to tailoring: an unstructured, unlined body on a half-canvas, a soft natural shoulder and a three-roll-two front. It is cut somewhat closer than the Games series, and twin front darts and a boat-shaped breast pocket keep it fairly conventional. Double vents and a ticket pocket add some practicality. It can be worn alone as a blazer or as part of a linen suit.

Tobacco Irish Linen Bedford Jacket
We picked a tobacco Irish linen from Baird McNutt because it closely matches the original's colour and the slubby, uneven texture of its weave. We set an unlined, soft half-canvassed make with a three-roll-two notch lapel, patch pockets, double vents and brown horn buttons to follow the original. The cloth we chose is a heavy linen of about 400 g, so the jacket is weightier than the lightweight Drake's piece. The design as made also has working kissing cuff buttons where Drake's uses a sham cuff, and it has a lined sleeve.
A plain-weave, 100% Irish linen from Baird McNutt, a mill working since 1798, at around 400 g. It is a solid tobacco brown, and its slightly irregular yarns give a visible variation in tone. The hand is smooth but textured. Like all linen it breathes well, drapes freely and creases with wear.
