Brown Cotton Canvas Games Blazer Mk. II
The Games blazer Mk. II is an unstructured, unlined jacket in brown cotton Panama canvas, made in Italy. It follows the earlier collegiate Games model but takes its cues from workwear, with a peaked notch lapel and keyhole buttonholes that let the front fasten all the way up through five horn buttons. The cut is deliberately shorter and fuller than a conventional tailored jacket, with a soft natural shoulder, and it is designed to be worn on its own or with the matching trousers as a relaxed suit.

Tobacco Irish Linen Bedford Jacket
We chose a heavy Irish linen in tobacco brown because Proper Cloth offers no cotton Panama canvas in a matching shade, and at 400 g it has the body and dry, textured surface that best approaches the original's basket weave. We kept the construction soft by setting it uncanvassed, unlined and ventless, with patch pockets and brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth's options do not include the peaked notch lapel, keyhole buttonholes or a full five-button front, so we settled on a conventional notch lapel with a three-roll-two stance, and traveller pockets inside in place of the looped passport pockets.
A heavy plain-weave linen from Baird McNutt, the Northern Irish mill, weighing about 400 g. It is tobacco brown with slight irregularities in the yarn that show as tonal variation, and it has a smooth but textured hand. Like any linen it breathes well and will crease readily, softening with wear.
