Brown Herringbone Linen-Silk Blazer
Drake's makes this single-breasted blazer in Italy from a light blend of linen and silk, woven in a classic herringbone of brown and tan. It follows the house pattern for tailoring: a soft natural shoulder, half-canvas construction, an unlined body and a lapel that rolls to the middle of three buttons. Patch pockets with a ticket pocket and a curved barchetta breast pocket keep it on the informal side, and it is intended for the milder months, worn as an odd jacket rather than as part of a suit.

Taupe Herringbone Italian Wool Flannel Bedford Jacket
We kept the tonal brown herringbone and the soft, unlined, half-canvassed make, and matched the three-roll-two notch lapel and patch pockets. We chose a brushed wool flannel from Lanificio Angelico rather than a linen-silk blend, which moves the jacket from warm weather to autumn and winter while holding on to its earthy colouring and low-contrast pattern. Proper Cloth's version uses light brown horn buttons and working kissing sleeve buttons in place of the original's pale buttons and sham cuff.
A pure wool flannel woven in Italy by Lanificio Angelico, in a taupe herringbone of low contrast. It is dense and on the heavier side of medium, brushed to a soft surface, and suited to cool-weather wear with both worsted trousers and jeans.
