Tobacco Antique Linen Games Blazer Mk. I
The Games Blazer Mk. I is Drake's relaxed single-breasted jacket, placed between sharp tailoring and something looser. Its design takes as much from workwear as from tailoring, with a boxy shape, patch pockets and twin-needle seams that recall the work clothes of twentieth-century artists and craftsmen. It is cut a little shorter and fuller than the house's tailored jackets and left unlined. It is meant to be worn casually, either alone or with matching trousers as an informal suit.

Tobacco Irish Linen Bedford Jacket
We chose a solid tobacco Irish linen from Baird McNutt because its colour and slightly irregular plain weave come close to the washed brown linen of the original. We set the jacket to match the Drake's construction where we could: no canvas, no lining, a 3-roll-2 notch lapel, patch and flap hip pockets, dark brown horn buttons and interior travel pockets in place of the passport pockets. The Proper Cloth cloth is noticeably heavier than Drake's, and it does not have the same washed finish. Proper Cloth also adds a centre vent and lines the sleeves, which the original leaves plain.
A heavy plain-weave linen woven in Ireland by Baird McNutt, weighing about 400 g, in a solid tobacco brown. The yarn is slightly irregular, which gives the surface a gentle variation in tone and a textured but smooth hand. The cloth drapes and breathes as linen does, and it will crease with wear.
