Olive Green Mid-Wale Cotton Corduroy Tailored Jacket
Drake's two-button corduroy jacket is made in Italy from olive green mid-wale cotton, and the cloth is expected to soften and mellow with wear. It sits in the house's tailored line, which is cut closer and with a slightly sharper shape than its Games jackets. The construction stays soft: half canvas, an unlined body and a natural shoulder. Its patch pockets with buttoned flaps, a ticket pocket and a boat-shaped breast pocket keep it on the country side of tailoring, so it can be worn with flannels, chinos or denim.

Pine Stretch Corduroy Waverly Jacket
We chose an Italian 14-wale cotton corduroy in a deep pine green, the closest solid green cord on offer to the original's olive. We matched the soft half-canvas build, the unlined body, the two-button notch lapel, side vents, dark horn buttons and four-button cuffs. Proper Cloth's pocket options do not include the buttoned flap overlays, the ticket pocket or the boat-shaped breast pocket, so we used plain patch pockets. The cloth carries 2% elastane and is heavier than the original's.
An Italian-woven corduroy of 98% cotton and 2% elastane with 14 wales to the inch, which falls within the mid-wale range. It weighs about 426 g and has a soft, velvety surface, a full drape and a little stretch. The colour is a solid pine green, darker and cooler than olive. Like any cotton cord, the pile should wear and fade gently at the edges over time.
