Navy Melton Wool Games Blazer Mk. III
The Games Blazer Mk. III is the double-breasted member of Drake's Games series, a line of tailoring cut to sit at the relaxed end of formal dress. It joins the closure and broad peak lapels of a classic navy blazer to the practical construction of a workwear jacket, with patch pockets, no lining in the body and a soft natural shoulder. The cut is somewhat shorter and fuller than the house's conventional tailoring, and the jacket is meant for everyday wear in most weathers and settings.

VBC S150s Navy Wool Cashmere Flannel
We chose a navy wool and cashmere flannel from Vitale Barberis Canonico as the nearest solid navy with real body, since a true melton was not the cloth we used here. We set the design to match the original's structure: six-button double-breasted front with peak lapels, uncanvassed and unlined construction, patch pockets and a ventless back. Brass crest buttons were not available, so we chose dark brown horn, and the interior uses traveller pockets in place of buttoned passport pockets.
A brushed flannel woven in Italy by Vitale Barberis Canonico from Super 150s wool with 7% cashmere, using mélange yarns that give the solid navy a faintly marbled depth. At 310 g it is a medium-heavy cloth with a soft, napped hand, substantial enough to keep its shape through a day's wear while feeling lighter and softer than a dense melton.
