Navy Wool-Cotton Twill Field Games Blazer
The Field Games Blazer belongs to Drake's Games family of jackets, which sit at the relaxed end of tailoring: a little shorter and fuller than the house's conventional jackets, and built without structure. It draws on English sporting dress, adding patch pockets with a slight western curve to their flaps and a throat latch at the collar. Its pin buttons pass through embroidered eyelets and can be taken out, a habit borrowed from work uniforms that were laundered without their hardware. Made in Italy from a heavy wool and cotton twill, it is intended for country use, travel and informal occasions.

Navy High Twist Cotton Sullivan Jacket
We chose a navy cotton twill from Tessuti di Sondrio because it matches the colour, the solid face and the diagonal weave of the original, and a cotton cloth keeps something of the dry, hard-wearing character of the cotton-rich blend. We set the jacket to match the soft make: no canvas, no lining, no vent, a notch lapel rolling to the middle of three buttons, patch pockets and dark brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth does not offer the flapped western pockets, the throat latch or removable pin buttons through eyelets, so we used plain patch pockets and ordinary sewn horn buttons.
An all-cotton twill woven in Italy by Tessuti di Sondrio from high-twist yarns, at a medium heavy weight, in solid navy. The tight twist gives a smooth face, a slightly open weave that breathes well, a clean drape and some natural resistance to creasing, which suits it to the milder months and to travel.
