Navy Cotton Corduroy Field Games Blazer
Drake's Field Games Blazer belongs to the house's Games family of soft jackets. They are cut a little shorter and fuller than its tailored coats and sit at the easier end of formal dress. This one draws on English sporting clothes. It is made in Italy from heavy navy corduroy, with no lining and no internal structure, and is meant for country use, travel and informal occasions. Its removable pin buttons follow old workwear uniforms, where the hardware came off so the garment could be washed.

Waverly Navy Stretch Corduroy Jacket
We chose a navy 14-wale corduroy from Duca Visconti because it matches the original's colour, its solid face and its substantial, rugged weight more closely than the alternatives. We set the jacket to match the Games blazer's construction: no canvas, an unlined body, a notch lapel with a three-roll-two stance, patch pockets and a ventless back, finished with dark brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth does not offer removable pin buttons through embroidered eyelets, a throat latch or western-shaped pockets, so we used conventional sewn horn buttons and plain patch pockets.
A 14-wale navy corduroy woven in Italy by Duca Visconti, in cotton with 2% elastane, at about 450 g per square metre. It has a soft, velvety pile and a deep, saturated colour, and the small amount of stretch gives a little extra movement. It is a cold-weather cloth with enough body to hold the shape of an unstructured jacket.
