Brown Windowpane Check Tweed Blazer
This is a two-button tweed blazer cut from a Yorkshire cloth that Drake's commissioned for a small winter capsule collection. A herringbone ground in earthy browns and olive carries a windowpane overcheck, giving it more colour than it shows at first glance. It is cut closer and more tailored than the house's Games jackets, with a soft natural shoulder, a half-canvas front and an unlined body. It is meant for cold-weather dressing, where its texture and warmth do most of the work.

Abraham Moon Moss Herringbone Shetland Tweed
We chose a heavy Shetland herringbone from Abraham Moon because it matches the original in fibre, weight and the herringbone ground, and has the same dense, slightly rough tweed hand. Proper Cloth had no brown windowpane over herringbone, so we went with a warm moss green solid, which is close to the olive tones in the Drake's palette, and gave up the overcheck. We kept the construction and trims the same: soft half-canvas, unlined body, two-button notch lapel, patch pockets, dark brown horn buttons and a four-button cuff.
The cloth is a 100% Shetland wool tweed from Abraham Moon, the long-established mill in Leeds, woven in a herringbone twill at about 370 g. It has a lightly brushed surface over a dense, firm body, in a warm moss green with the herringbone showing as tonal texture, and it should wear as a sturdy cold-weather cloth.
