Brown Herringbone Harris Tweed Blazer
Drake's single-breasted blazer is cut from Harris tweed woven in a fine brown herringbone, with olive, tan and rust threads that give the cloth more depth than its overall colour first suggests. It is made in Italy on the house's closer tailored block, slimmer through the body than Drake's Games jackets, with half-canvas construction, no body lining and a soft, natural shoulder. Patch pockets, a ticket pocket and a curved barchetta breast pocket put it between country and town dress, so it can be worn with flannels or with something more casual.

Abraham Moon Moss Herringbone Shetland Tweed
We chose a heavyweight herringbone tweed from Abraham Moon so that the weave and the dense, slightly rough surface of the original would carry over. Proper Cloth had no Harris tweed in the earthy brown mix, so we took a warm moss green herringbone, which picks up the olive in the Drake's cloth. We set the construction and details to match: soft half-canvas, unlined body, two-button notch lapel, patch pockets and dark brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth's sleeves come with working buttons, so the cuffs open rather than being the sham cuff of the original.
A 370 g, 100% Shetland wool tweed from Abraham Moon, the long-established mill in Leeds, woven in a herringbone twill. It has a lightly brushed face over a clearly visible herringbone in a warm moss green, and its firm, woollen hand should make for a sturdy jacket in cold weather.
