ALD / Drake's Ecru Games Blazer MK1
The Mk. I Games Blazer is the casual jacket Drake's made for its Transatlantic capsule with Aimé Leon Dore, the New York label. It takes as much from workwear as from tailoring, recalling the plain, hard-wearing coats once worn in studios and workshops. The cut is boxy, a little shorter and fuller than a conventional tailored jacket, with a soft shoulder and no lining. It is meant for everyday wear, either on its own or with the matching trousers as a relaxed two-piece.

Khaki High Twist Cotton Sullivan Jacket
We chose a plain khaki cotton twill from Tessuti di Sondrio. Proper Cloth does not offer an ecru drill, and this was the closest solid cotton in a weight and weave that suited an unstructured jacket. We set the construction to match the original's soft character: no canvas, unlined, ventless, a three-roll-two notch lapel, patch and flap pockets and brown horn buttons. Where Proper Cloth's options call for some interior finishing, we picked light brown pocket linings, a self-fabric melton and traveller interior pockets to stand in for the original's passport pockets.
A solid khaki twill in 100% cotton, woven in Italy by Tessuti di Sondrio from high-twist yarns. It sits at the heavier end of medium weight. The tightly twisted yarn makes a slightly open, breathable cloth with a smooth face, a clean drape and some natural resistance to creasing, so it suits spring through autumn.
