Russet Cotton Corduroy Games Blazer Mk. I
The Mk. I Games Blazer is a casual corduroy jacket whose ideas come from workwear as much as from tailoring. It recalls the practical jackets worn by artists and craftsmen in the last century, so it has twin needle seams, an unlined body and patch pockets. It is cut shorter and fuller than a conventional tailored jacket, with a boxy body and a generous sleeve, and is meant for everyday wear. It can be worn alone or with the matching trousers as a relaxed two-piece.

Khaki Stretch Corduroy Waverly Jacket
We chose a heavyweight Italian cotton corduroy because it comes closest in substance to the original's Yorkshire cloth. Proper Cloth did not offer the russet shade or the broad 8 wale rib, so we took a khaki 14 wale cloth with a little stretch. We matched the construction: no canvas, an unlined body, a three-roll-two notch lapel, a ventless back, flapped patch pockets, dark brown horn buttons and travel pockets inside. Its sleeves are lined in a striped cloth, and the lapel roll is set with three buttons that do not kiss at the cuff.
This Italian corduroy is woven with a 14 wale rib and weighs about 426 g, so it is heavy. The cloth is 98% cotton with 2% elastane, which gives it a soft, velvety hand and a slight give. It is a plain khaki and should soften and develop a gentle sheen at the wear points over time.
