Grey Wool Tweed Field Games Blazer
The Field Games Blazer is a relaxed, unstructured tweed jacket that draws on traditional English sporting clothes. As with the other Games blazers, it is cut a little shorter and fuller than a tailored jacket, with a soft shoulder and an unlined body, so it can be worn easily in the country, at informal gatherings or when travelling. Its working details, including a throat latch and removable pin buttons in the manner of old uniforms that were stripped of hardware for washing, give it a practical character.

Grey Herringbone Shetland Tweed Andover Jacket
We chose a dense grey Shetland tweed from Katori in Japan, as it gives a mixed grey surface and a weight close to the original's midweight wool tweed. We matched the soft, unstructured make: uncanvassed, unlined body, three-roll-two notch lapel, ventless back and patch pockets, with sleeve lining and interior pockets inside. Proper Cloth does not offer a throat latch, removable pin buttons or pointed western-style flaps, so we used fixed black faux horn buttons and its standard flap patch pockets. The cloth has a herringbone weave where the original is a plainer tweed.
A 100% Shetland wool tweed woven by Katori, a Japanese mill working in natural fibres since 1945. It is dense and fairly heavy at about 350 g, with a lightly brushed face over a clear herringbone in several contrasting greys, and should wear as a sturdy, textured cold-weather cloth.
