ALD / Drake's Double Breasted Chalkstripe Suit Jacket
This double-breasted jacket was made in collaboration between Aimé Leon Dore and Drake's. It takes the traditional chalkstripe flannel of city tailoring and cuts it in a soft, relaxed shape. The jacket is half-canvassed with a natural shoulder, four buttons and a gently bellied peak lapel. Patch hip pockets with a patch ticket pocket give it a more casual look than a formal suit. It is made in Italy and is sold with matching pleated trousers, so it can be worn as a suit or on its own.

Grey Chalkstripe VBC Double Breasted Flannel Regent Suit
We chose a grey chalkstripe merino flannel from Vitale Barberis Canonico because it matches the colour, the brushed surface and the fine stripe of the original. We kept the soft half-canvas construction, the peak lapel, the patch pockets and the dark horn buttons. The version as made has a six-button double-breasted front where Drake's uses four, and it comes as a full suit with single-pleated trousers.
A merino wool flannel woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico in Biella. It is a medium-heavy cloth with a brushed, slightly fuzzy hand, in grey with a chalkstripe. It is a cold-weather cloth that stays breathable and comfortable in autumn and winter.
