Olive Cotton Corduroy Field Games Blazer
The Field Games Blazer belongs to Drake's Games family, a group of jackets cut a little shorter and fuller than the house's tailored coats and intended for informal use. Its starting point is English sporting dress, adapted for country wear, travel and relaxed social occasions. It is made in Italy from heavy vintage corduroy, with a throat latch at the collar, and its pin buttons can be taken out for laundering in the way old workwear uniforms were. It is meant to be worn as a soft, practical everyday jacket rather than as tailoring.

Pine Stretch Corduroy Waverly Jacket
We chose a heavyweight Italian cotton corduroy in a deep green close to the original's olive, at a broadly similar weight, so the jacket keeps the solid, ribbed look and some of the substance of the Drake's cloth. We set the construction to match: no canvas, no lining, a three-roll-two notch lapel, a ventless back, patch pockets and dark brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth offers no throat latch, removable pin buttons or pointed western pocket tops, so we used plain patch pockets and fixed buttons. The cloth also has a finer wale than the original's wide cord and contains a little elastane.
An Italian 14-wale corduroy of 98% cotton and 2% elastane, weighing 426 g, in a solid pine green. It has a soft, velvety hand and drapes well, and the small amount of stretch gives it some give in wear. It suits a soft-tailored jacket worn in cold weather.
