Brown Wool-Cotton Tailored Jacket
Drake's single-breasted jacket in brown is cut from a wool and cotton blend woven in Biella, and is sold with matching trousers as part of a suit. It follows the house silhouette, with a soft natural shoulder, gentle shaping at the waist and a 3-roll-2 front framed by broad lapels with a generous belly. The jacket is fully canvassed with a chest shaped by hand, and the collar and sleeves are attached by hand. It can be worn as a suit or on its own with odd trousers.

Drago Dark Brown S130s Flannel Bedford Jacket
We kept the solid brown, the three-roll-two notch lapel, the soft full canvas and the flap and ticket pocket arrangement, and finished it with dark brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth does not offer the same wool and cotton twill, so we chose an all-merino flannel from Drago, another Biella mill, in a deep brown. It has a softer, brushed surface and a little more weight than the original's lightweight blend. The sleeve buttons on Proper Cloth's version are working buttons set to touch, where Drake's are decorative.
A 275 g Super 130s merino wool flannel woven by Drago in Biella, Italy, in a solid dark brown. The brushed finish feels soft and smooth, and slight variation in the yarns gives the colour some depth. It is a medium-weight cloth, warmer than a lightweight blend and best suited to the cooler months.
