Brown Houndstooth Check Tweed Blazer
This is a single-breasted tweed sport coat in a small brown and ecru houndstooth, cut in Drake's house shape with a soft natural shoulder and a gently suppressed waist. It draws on the country tweed jacket and is tailored in Italy with a full canvas, a hand-shaped chest, hand-set collar and sleeves, and a minimal buggy lining across the back. The lapels are notched and fairly broad with a full belly, and the front rolls to the middle of three buttons. It is intended to sit between town and country, worn with flannel trousers or with denim.

Brown Houndstooth Italian Flannel Bedford Jacket
We chose a brushed brown houndstooth wool from the Italian mill Lanificio Angelico as the nearest available match in colour and pattern, accepting flannel in place of tweed. We set the jacket up to follow Drake's construction and front as closely as the options allow: soft full canvas, a three-two roll notch lapel, patch pockets and dark brown horn buttons. Where an exact equivalent was not offered we chose the closest option, so the back is half lined rather than buggy lined, and the cuffs carry four kissing buttons.
A dense, brushed 100% wool flannel woven by Lanificio Angelico in Italy, with a soft, napped hand and a medium heavyweight body suited to autumn and winter. The houndstooth is built from several shades of chocolate brown at medium contrast, giving a darker and quieter check than a tweed of similar colour.
