Brown Linen Blazer
Drake's single-breasted blazer in brown linen is a summer version of a basic tailored jacket, cut in the house silhouette. It has a 3-roll-2 front, a natural soft shoulder and light waist shaping. The jacket is fully canvassed with a hand-shaped chest, has hand-attached collar and sleeves, and uses a buggy lining to keep the back light. The lapels are wide with a full belly, and it is meant to be worn with denim as readily as with tailored trousers.

Coffee Irish Linen Bedford Jacket
We looked for a solid brown pure linen with visible slub and irregularity, and chose a coffee Irish linen from Baird McNutt. Its colour and uneven surface come close to the original, though the cloth is far heavier. We matched the 3-roll-2 notch lapel, the soft full canvas, the dark brown horn buttons and the four-button cuffs, and kept the jacket only partly lined so it stays light. The jacket was made with patch pockets rather than the original's flapped hip pockets, ticket pocket and barchetta breast pocket.
A pure Irish linen woven by Baird McNutt, a mill working since 1798, in a plain weave of about 400 g. It is a rich coffee brown with slight irregularities in the yarn that give the surface some variation. The hand is smooth but textured, and it drapes and creases in the way heavier linens do.
