Brown Herringbone Tweed Games Blazer Mk. VII
The Games blazer is Drake's soft-tailored jacket, made for the space between a formal suit jacket and casual outerwear. It is cut a little shorter and fuller than the house's structured tailoring, with no canvas and a natural shoulder, so it sits easily over knitwear or a flannel shirt. This Mk. VII version is in a heavyweight brown herringbone tweed, a cloth chosen for durability and for the way it softens and gains character with wear. It is meant for everyday use across seasons and occasions, rather than for formal dress.

Brown Herringbone Italian Flannel Bedford Jacket
We looked for a brown herringbone wool with enough weight and surface interest to stand in for tweed, and chose a brushed Italian flannel from Lanificio di Pray because its mixed shades of brown give some of the depth of the original. We matched the soft construction by specifying an uncanvassed, quarter-lined jacket with a two-button notch lapel, a ventless back, flapped patch pockets and dark brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth does not offer this tweed, so the cloth is a flannel, smoother and slightly lighter than the original. The cut follows Proper Cloth's own fit options rather than the shorter, fuller Games pattern.
A 315 g Super 110s wool flannel woven in Biella by Lanificio di Pray, brushed to a soft, slightly napped hand. It is a warm brown herringbone with medium-contrast tonal variation, suited to autumn and winter wear, and is softer and less rugged than tweed.
