Brown Check Tweed Games Blazer Mk. VII
The Games blazer is Drake's softer take on the tailored jacket. It is cut a little shorter and fuller than their structured models and built without canvas or padding, so it falls somewhere between a sharp jacket and a casual one. This Mk. VII version uses a brown wool tweed, a cloth chosen for its durability and for the way it softens and gains character with years of wear. It is intended as an everyday jacket for cooler weather and most occasions.

Angelico Brown Glen Plaid Italian Wool Flannel
Proper Cloth did not offer a close match for this tweed, so we chose Angelico's brushed brown glen plaid flannel. It keeps the brown ground, the small-scale check and the autumn and winter weight, but has a smoother, softer handle than tweed. We set the construction to follow the original as closely as the options allowed: uncanvassed, unlined, ventless, notch lapels, flapped lower pockets and dark brown horn buttons. Where Drake's lines only the shoulders and sleeves, we chose a fully unlined body with a striped sleeve lining, and patch pockets with flaps were the closest pocket option available.
A dense 100% wool flannel from Lanificio Angelico in Italy, at around 320 g. It is brushed to a soft, slightly fuzzy finish and woven in a tonal brown glen plaid. It should wear warm and comfortably through the colder months.
