Brown and Burgundy Prince of Wales Check Shetland Tweed Games Blazer Mk. VII
This is a single-breasted games blazer in Shetland tweed, part of a line Drake's places at the easier end of tailoring. It is cut a little shorter and fuller than the house's traditional jackets, with no structure, a soft natural shoulder and an unlined body. The cloth is a brown and burgundy Prince of Wales check, and the jacket is meant to be worn every day, dressed up or down as the weather and occasion require.

VBC S150s Brown and Scarlet Glen Plaid Flannel Downing Jacket
We looked for a brown-based glen plaid with a red overcheck and chose a merino and cashmere flannel from Vitale Barberis Canonico, because Proper Cloth offered no close match in Shetland tweed. We kept the soft build by specifying an uncanvassed, quarter-lined jacket with two-button notch lapels, a ventless back and dark brown horn buttons. The pockets were set as patches, since the hip pockets on the original cannot be made out clearly in the photographs, and the flannel gives a brushed surface instead of the drier, hairier feel of tweed.
A brushed flannel of 93% merino wool and 7% cashmere, woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico in Biella, Italy, in a medium heavyweight suited to autumn and winter. It is a brown glen plaid with a scarlet overcheck, and it has a soft, slightly fuzzy hand that breathes well in cool weather.
