Brown Prince of Wales Check Shetland Tweed Games Blazer Mk. VII
The Games blazer is Drake's relaxed take on the tailored jacket, cut a little shorter and fuller than the house's conventional tailoring so that it sits at the easier end of formal dress. This Mk. VII version is made in Italy from Shetland tweed in a brown Prince of Wales check, a cloth chosen for its hardiness and its Scottish roots. It has no structure through the body and a natural shoulder, and is meant as an everyday jacket for most weather and most occasions.

Loro Piana Fabric Brown Glen Plaid Flannel Hudson Jacket
We chose a Loro Piana brown glen plaid flannel as the nearest available match to the original's colour and check, since a comparable Shetland tweed in this pattern was not on offer. To keep the soft, casual character, we set the jacket unlined, uncanvassed and ventless, with notch lapels, a two-button front, flapped patch hip pockets and dark brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth lines the sleeves as standard, which suits the original's lined sleeves, but its body is a flannel of wool, cashmere and silk rather than tweed, so the surface is smoother and the weight lighter.
A twill flannel woven by Loro Piana in Italy from 86% wool, 4% cashmere and 10% silk, at about 290 g. It is a medium-weight cloth with a soft, brushed hand, in a brown glen plaid. The wool gives it drape and resilience, while the cashmere and silk add softness, so it wears more gently than a tweed and is less suited to rough weather.
