Blue Gun Club Check Tweed Blazer
This is an unlined, half-canvassed sport coat in a heavy wool tweed woven with a small gun club check. The check comes from country dress, where it was a working and sporting pattern, and here it is cut with soft Italian tailoring and a natural shoulder. Patch pockets, a ticket pocket and a barchetta breast pocket keep it relaxed, so it suits both country clothes and town wear.

Delfino Brown and Navy Plaid Cashmere Flannel
We chose a brown and navy cashmere flannel from Delfino because it has the same earthy palette and checked character in a soft, napped cloth. We matched the unlined, soft half-canvassed build, the notch lapel, the patch pockets and the dark brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth does not offer a comparable gun club check tweed, so we accepted a plaid in a lighter, softer cashmere. The cuffs were made with four kissing working buttons where the original has a sham cuff.
A 100% cashmere twill flannel woven by Delfino in the Biella region of Italy, at around 295 g. It has a smooth hand with a light fuzz on the surface and a high-contrast brown and navy plaid. It is warm for its weight and best kept for cooler months.
