Brown Prince of Wales Check Harris Tweed Games Blazer Mk. VII
Drake's Games blazer is a soft, unstructured jacket that sits between tailoring and casual wear. It is cut a little shorter and fuller than the house's tailored jackets. The Mk. VII version was designed around woollen cloths. Its slanted chest and hip pockets recall the Barchetta pocket on the house's tailored block, and its lined sleeves make it slightly more formal than earlier versions. This one is cut in a brown Prince of Wales check Harris Tweed, as an everyday jacket for cold weather that can be dressed up or down.

VBC S150s Brown and Scarlet Glen Plaid Flannel Downing Jacket
We chose a brushed glen plaid flannel from Vitale Barberis Canonico. It keeps the brown ground and the medium-scale check with a warm red overcheck, though it is a smoother, softer cloth than Harris Tweed. To keep the jacket's soft, unstructured character, we set it with no canvas, a quarter lining, a two-button notch lapel, a ventless back and dark brown horn buttons. The configuration lists flap hip pockets but does not say whether they are slanted, and it does not record the chest pocket style, so the Barchetta-like slant may not carry over.
A flannel woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico in Biella from 93% merino wool and 7% cashmere, at a medium-heavy weight. It has a brushed, slightly fuzzy surface and a soft hand. The pattern is a brown glen plaid with a scarlet overcheck, and the cloth suits autumn and winter wear.
