Dark Brown Prince of Wales Check Tweed Blazer
This is a single-breasted sport jacket in a heavy wool tweed woven in the Glenurquhart check, the Scottish estate pattern that became linked with the Prince of Wales. Drake's cuts its tailored jackets closer to the body than its Games range, and this one is made in Italy with a half-canvas front, an unlined body and a soft, natural shoulder. With patch pockets and a 3-roll-2 front, it sits between country clothing and town dress.

VBC S150s Brown and Scarlet Glen Plaid Flannel Downing Jacket
We looked for a brown glen check in a warm, substantial cloth and chose a brushed merino and cashmere flannel from Vitale Barberis Canonico, since no comparable heavy tweed was available. We matched the construction where Proper Cloth allows it: soft half-canvas, unlined body, 3-roll-2 notch lapel, patch pockets and brown horn buttons. Proper Cloth fits working sleeve buttons, so the cuff here has four kissing buttons that function rather than a sham cuff, and the overcheck is scarlet where the original's is lavender.
A Super 150s flannel of 93% merino wool and 7% cashmere, woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico in Biella. It is medium heavyweight with a brushed, softly fuzzy surface, and its brown glen plaid is picked out with scarlet. The cloth is suited to autumn and winter and feels softer and smoother than tweed.
