Brown and Red Prince of Wales Check Tweed Games Blazer Mk. VII
The Games blazer is Drake's take on the everyday sports jacket, sitting between sharp tailoring and something looser. It is cut a little shorter and fuller than the house's traditional tailored jackets and has no structure, with a soft natural shoulder. The Mk. VII version was designed around woollen cloths, so it is a little more tailored than earlier versions, with lined sleeves and slanted pockets that follow the barchetta chest pocket of the Drake's house block. This one is in a heavy tweed Prince of Wales check and is meant to be worn often, in most weather and for most occasions.

VBC S150s Brown and Scarlet Glen Plaid Flannel Downing Jacket
We looked for a check close to the original's brown ground with a red overcheck, and chose a brown and scarlet glen plaid from Vitale Barberis Canonico. Proper Cloth offers no matching tweed, so we took a brushed merino and cashmere flannel, which has a soft surface in place of the original's rougher texture. To match the soft build we set an uncanvassed construction with a quarter lining and lined sleeves, a two-button notch lapel, a ventless back and dark brown horn buttons. Slanted pockets were not available, so we used patch pockets.
The cloth is a flannel woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico in Biella from Super 150s merino wool with 7% cashmere. It is a medium heavyweight cloth with a brushed, slightly fuzzy finish and a soft hand. The pattern is a brown glen plaid with a scarlet overcheck. It is a cloth for autumn and winter, and it breathes well in mild indoor warmth.
