Michael McGregor for Drake’s White Seersucker Games Trousers
The Games trouser is Drake's standing pattern for a pleated trouser that sits between tailoring and casual wear. It is cut high in the waist with a full leg, a single pleat and a gentle taper below the knee. This limited edition, made with Michael McGregor, is cut in white cotton seersucker woven in Yorkshire and made up in Italy. It is intended to be worn with the matching Games blazer as a loose summer suit, though it also stands alone.

Portuguese Ivory Linen Palermo Pant
We chose a Portuguese ivory linen as the nearest pale, airy summer cloth on offer, since a white seersucker was not available; the linen's slub gives a natural surface texture in place of seersucker's puckered stripe. We kept the single forward pleats, zip fly with button waist, belt loops and plain hem. Proper Cloth has no side adjuster or concealed fob pocket option, so we used a button-through tab at the waist and a standard coin pocket, and the buttons are light brown horn rather than gold-tone metal.
A plain-weave 100% linen woven in Portugal, in a soft ivory with no pattern. Proper Cloth lists it as medium weight, but it hangs loosely and breathes well. It has the irregular texture typical of linen, feels soft from the start and creases readily in wear.
