Corn Cotton Corduroy Games Trousers
Drake's made these trousers to go with its Games Blazer, so that the two can be worn together as a casual two-piece somewhere between tailoring and workwear. The cut has a high rise that sits above the hip, a full leg with a single pleat, and a gentle taper below the knee, which gives a mid-century shape. Side adjusters, belt loops and a concealed fob pocket add practical touches. They are meant to be worn all year, either alone or with the matching jacket.

Stratton Hazel Stretch Corduroy
We looked for a solid corduroy in a warm, tawny shade close to the corn colour of the original, and chose a hazel cord as the nearest match among Proper Cloth's corduroys. We kept the single pleats, zip fly, button fastening, belt loops and plain hem. Proper Cloth does not offer side adjusters or a concealed fob pocket, so we fitted belt loops and its standard coin pocket in their place. The cloth has a finer 13 wale rather than 8 wale and contains a little elastane.
A Spanish woven 13-wale corduroy in a warm hazel brown, made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane. At about 345 g it is a medium heavyweight cloth with a soft, velvety pile and a slight stretch, suited to autumn and winter.
