Navy Herringbone Twill Cotton Drawstring Trousers
Drake's fatigue trousers combine the practical cut of military work trousers with the comfort of older athletic wear. They are made in Portugal from a Japanese organic cotton herringbone, a soft cloth with some substance to it. The drawstring sits inside the waistband so the front stays tidy, and slanted patch pockets at the hip recall American workwear. They are cut straight and relaxed, to be worn as casual everyday trousers.

Faded Navy Fatigue Pant
Proper Cloth had no navy herringbone cotton in this style, so we chose a Japanese faded navy reverse sateen. Its uneven, slightly rustic surface gives some of the texture a herringbone would, and its weight is similar. We copied the fatigue pockets at the hip, the internal drawstring elastic waistband, the flat front and the straight leg. The fly fastens with a zip and there are two square patch pockets at the back, because those were the options available for this pattern.
A Japanese reverse sateen of 98% cotton and 2% elastane, weighing 325 g, in a faded navy. The surface is smooth but slightly irregular, with a rustic texture. The faded colour makes it look more casual than an even navy, and the small amount of elastane gives a little stretch.
